How To Make a Pancake

Pancakes are a type of flat bread, not necessarily sweetened, enjoyed by cultures around the world. Pancake recipes vary, but all have the same basic ingredients of flour, eggs and milk. Some countries, like the United States and Canada, serve pancakes for breakfast while others, such as the European regions, serve pancakes as desserts or even side dishes. They are eaten plain, with butter, sprinkled with powdered sugar or filled with pastry, fruit or cheese. Whatever the tradition, pancakes are a truly universal and enjoyable treat.

Ingredients

The following ingredients will make about 8 10-inch (25cm) pancakes (more or fewer, depending on the size). You may change the amounts of ingredients according to the number you wish to serve.
  • 2 cups (18oz/510g) plain or all-purpose flour (See tips below)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups (350ml) of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter/vegetable oil
  • 5 tablespoons sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt (optional)

Steps

  1. Crack eggs into a bowl and beat until fluffy. Add in the dry ingredients, (omit baking soda if using self-raising flour), and milk. Do not stir mixture at this point.

  2. 2
Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Make sure that it's completely melted; about a minute is sufficient.

  3. 3
Add the butter and the milk to the mix. Stir gently, leaving some small clumps of dry ingredients in the batter. Do not blend until completely smooth. If your batter is smooth, your pancakes will be tough and flat as opposed to fluffy.

  4. 4
Heat the frying pan to a medium low flame. If you have an initial "pancake" setting on your stove, use that. Be sure to use non-stick spray, or a pat of butter so the pancakes won't stick.

  5. 5
Sprinkle a few flecks of water onto your pan. If it 'dances', or jumps from the pan with a sizzle, the pan is ready for the batter.

  6. 6
Pour about 3 tablespoons to 1/4 cup batter from the tip of a large spoon or from a pitcher onto the hot griddle(Or your greased frying pan). The amount you pour will decide the final size of your pancakes. It is best to begin with less batter, and then slowly pour more batter onto the pan to increase the pancake size.

  7. 7
Cook for about two minutes or until the pancake is golden. You should see bubbles form and then pop around the edges. When the bubbles at the edge of the batter pop and a hole is left that does not immediately close up, flip the cake gently.

  8. 8
Cook the other side until golden and remove. Want a deeper color? Repeat the steps for another thirty seconds per side until the pancake is done enough for your tastes.

  9. 9
Enjoy! Try adding butter, peanut butter, syrup, jelly, chocolate chips, cookie or candy crumbles or fruit to your pancakes for a different, more exciting flavor. The varieties are endless. These are the most delectable pancakes you will ever taste.

Environment of SMAN 3 Bandung

Hi! I'm Fathur, and I'm just one of the student who study in SMAN 3 Bandung . it is located on belitung street number 8 Bandung. Many people says that this is the best school in Bandung. Well, now, I wanna tell you about the environment in my school. First, we start from entrance gate on Kalimantan street. I think that location is clean enough. I seldom see some trash scatter on the ground. Next, the class X building and class XI building. There are 12 rooms in class X building and 9 rooms in class XI building. Yeah, you know there's still a lot of student who don't care about environment around us. Sometimes they throw rubbish anywhere they want. And it becomes the area dirty. In every classroom, I'm sure that there are many trash under the table. Students often put the trash under the table because they are too lazy to go outside and throw it in to the trash can.

Then, the orchid garden. It's located between class X building and class XI building. The orchid garden's condition is so nature, clean and comfortable. It can makes us feel calm and fresh. And I love it. But the fishpond looks so bad. The water's color is green and we can't see whether there is fish or no. And now, bazaar. I don't know why it called bazaar. We just call it bazaar. There are so many kind of food and drink which is sold in bazaar. Even students from SMAN 5 often come to bazaar. Besides, there are dining tables so we can eat there. But, if bazaar was getting full of people, it's hard to find an empty table to eat. So, the students often bring the food by Styrofoam  to the class.

Actually, it's so dangerous for our body to use Styrofoam for a hot food. Although sometimes there are some people who know about it, they act like they don't care about themselves. They keep doing that habit. Ah, there's one again a bad habit of us. There are 2 type of trash, organic and inorganic. We also know what the difference between organic and inorganic but we still often throw the trash without sorting it. Whereas throw the trash by sorting it first, it can brings a good impact for us and our environment. Everything has their own usefulness, and every usefulness bring their own impact.

A TRUE FRIEND

A true friend never walks away
A true will always stay
A true friend looks out for you

A true friend will guard your secrets
Like a precious gift
A true friend is there for you
To give you a helpful lift

A true friend tries to make you smile
Tries to replace that frown
They may not always succeed
But they rarely let you down
These arms for you are open
This heart for you does care
And when I think you need me
I’ll try to always be there

I’ll listen to your fears
I promise not to laugh
Comfort your falling tears
I’ll make this friendship last

I’ll keep you near to my heart
I’ll always hold you dear
Even when were miles apart
Even when you’re here

I hope I am to you
Everything you are to me
For the friendship we have
Is a special one indeed.

National Exam

National exam has become a standard for the graduation. We use National Exam to get in into higher level of the school. From elementary school to junior high school, from junior high school to senior high school, and from senior high school to university. As we can see now on tv or another mass media, the recent of national exam has failed. Delay of the question sheet distribution, the leak of the national exam answer key, and a lot of another cheating still happen.
I think this is the right time to stop the national exam for become the standard of graduation. We can use personal test from each school. So we can truly get in to a school that same as our personal skill. But its not close the chance if the personal test can still be another cheating. But thats Indonesia, couldnt become clean from all kind of cheating. Over all National exam is worse than the personal test.

And thats all what we’ve got. National exam are not good at all, but it still has a good side. And now, we couldn’t do anything, our aspiration will neve rbe heard by the government. We just can hope and pray taht indonesian system in many field will be so much better.
